Why not a custom portrait?

 The other day I did several searches for "painting ideas" or "wall art ideas", and I found many things. On Pinterest I went through more than two hundred pins but did not see any personalized portrait. And I wondered why. Why not decorate a wall with a custom portrait? Why not turn that beloved photo into a artwork and hang it on that wall? Why not have the image of a loved one giving life to a wall? 

I really don't know, but it doesn't seem like a big trend on Pinterest.

A trained artist can turn a photo into a true work of art that stands out anywhere. What do you think?
